    Kenten manages the Developer Relations team at Astronomer and has a background in field engineering, data engineering, and consulting. She has first-hand experience adopting and running Airflow as a consultant, and is passionate about helping other data engineers scale and get the most out of their orchestration experience. When she isn't working with data she's typically outside trail running or skiing.

    Steven Hillion has been leading engineering and analytics teams for twenty years. He is currently Head of Data at Astronomer, the New York-based company behind Apache Airflow, the popular open-source data orchestration platform. Previously, he founded Alpine Data, a collaborative data science platform later acquired by TIBCO. Before that he built a global data science team at Pivotal and developed a suite of open-source and enterprise software in machine learning. Earlier, he led engineering at several successful start-ups. Originally from Guernsey, Steven now lives in San Francisco. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UC Berkeley, and read mathematics at Oxford University.
